Scott Kirkpatrick, Chair

Scott was born in South Carolina and graduated from Wingate University in North Carolina. He is in the process of earning a Masters in Divinity. Scott became a disciple of Jesus in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996. He entered the full-time ministry in Atlanta, Georgia in 1998. He along with his wife Thereasa led the Church in Columbia, South Carolina from 2013 - 2020. In 2021 they moved to lead in the Inland Empire Region of the LA Church of Christ. Scott and Thereasa were married on December 11, 1999. They have three children, London, Sydney, and Asia. They enjoy traveling, seeing movies, cooking out, and having fun as a family.

Scott served as the Regional Family Chairman for the US Southeast Family of Churches from 2010 to 2020. He along with other brothers began the initiative of the ICOC US Diversity Team in 2012. Scott currently serves as the chairman of that team, now known as the ICOC US Social Cultural and Diversity Team (SCUAD).
