Stephen Q. Mitchell, JD

Stephen and his wife Gina were baptized in the Los Angeles Church of Christ on March 11, 1995 in the Arts, Media & Sports Ministry (AMS) – Hermosa Beach Branch. They later moved to the South-Central Region (Now Metro LA). In July 2004, they moved with their three children to South Florida and have been members of the South Florida Church of Christ/Broward Church since then. Their three children, Lauren, Spenser and Eden, all became disciples as teens in Florida. Originally from Potomac, MD outside of Washington, DC, Stephen received his bachelor’s in Drama from Tufts University near Boston, MA and his law degree from Georgetown University. He has worked as an actor, attorney, business owner and currently as an international college recruiter. During his time as a disciple he has been a worship team member and leader, small group leader, zone leader, and deacon. He is passionate about God and all races and cultures living together in harmony as disciples of Jesus. He has been a member of the ICOC US Social Cultural Unity and Diversity (SCUAD) team since 2017 and helped start and serves on the Broward Church SCUAD.
